Financial Softworks, LLC was founded in 2003 and is a closely held private company comprised of experienced software professionals. Work on DashBook began in 2006 when we recognized the need for quality software for smaller royalty paying businesses who could not afford large, expensive systems which cost many thousands of dollars.

Since then we have been improving DashBook to provide increasing functionality to handle the more complex needs of ever larger clients including book publishers, music distributors, music publishers, music labels, and more, while maintaining focus on a straightforward interface that makes the job pleasurable.

3/1/2023 - It is with great regret that we must let you know that Dashbook will be halting new sales. It has been our pleasure to provide a royalty accounting system and service that we feel has been top notch, at a bargain price, for decades. Unfortunately, we cannot sustain operations.

The DashBook program will continue to function for our existing customers, but new sales have been halted. Support will be winding down over the next few weeks. The database resides in an open format, which any database consultant will be able to use, should you wish to transfer the information to a different system or desire a report customization.
