Installing DashBook DashBook Royalty Pro works well on all flavors of Windows from XP to Windows 10 - even on a Mac or online service.  If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to contact us! Troubleshooting install: If you are running on a Mac, you need to download and install the DashBook setup program onto a Windows partition. If you receive an error during install about a corrupted file, you are probably experiencing a Vista problem that can be resolved by running with administrative rights. If you receive an error during install that references .Net Framework or "Extraction of installation data downloaded from the web has failed." then you can update your Microsoft .Net Framework prior to re-trying the DashBook setup install. If Windows Vista, 7, or higher, you need .Net Framework 4.5: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30653 If Windows XP, you need .Net Framework 4.0: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851 Note that with XP, you may have .Net Framework Client.  "Client" would limit your use in DashBook, so we recommend uninstalling that and going with the full version (non Client).  Microsoft has since discountinued this "Client" subset for the newer Framework 4.5, as well as discontinued Windows XP (it won't run Framework 4.5).  If you still use Windows XP, treat yourself to a new computer running Windows 10.
